Nearby enjoy the numerous waterfalls for which the area is renowned, the Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests, Gorges State Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The nearby towns of Cashiers, Brevard, and Highlands offer unique shopping experiences and

numerous festivals and events throughout the year. Numerous fine restaurants are to be found in the towns and in the Lake Toxaway and Sapphire areas as well.
