An authentic log cabin in the old time tradition is a wonderful getaway destination for a respite from the cares of everyday life. Cozy, comfortable and furnished with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay in the mountains.  From the front porch you enter a large room with the living area to your left and the dining and kitchen area to your right.  The stone fireplace has gas logs for your convenience.  There is one bedroom with a queen bed and one bath with an old style pedestal tub and shower enclosure. 

Comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch provide a great place to just relax and listen to the sounds of the stream below.  There is an outdoor firepit and picnic table to enjoy in the evenings as you recount the adventures of the day.  From the cabin, it is a short walk to the garden house and the deck by the stream and waterfall - this will become one of your favorite spots!  Close to Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests and Gorges State Park and numerous spectacular waterfalls.  Restaurants and shops are within a five minute drive and it is a short and scenic drive to any of the following towns and villages : Brevard, Cashiers, Highlands
