For enjoyment of the view and beautiful sunsets, and for grilling something special for dinner, there is a large open deck. The cabin is a short drive from Gorges State Park, Pisgah National Forest, and the Nantahala National Forest.  In the "Land of the Waterfalls", there are numerous scenic waterfalls to visit and wonderful outdoor adventures abound.
